Titan Procedure Tummy Tuck

Non-Surgical Tummy Tuck and Facelift

Titan is an excellent competitor to the Thermage™ system.

The new Titan gives you an all natural option to actively turn back the clock on aging skin. Using light energy to stimulate new collagen growth deep beneath your skin's surface, Titan can tighten skin on your face, neck, arms, abdomen, and legs. It's an ideal solution to enhance your youthful and healthy appearance without surgery, recovery time, or injections.

Please take a moment to review these excellent articles on Titan™ Procedure .

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Be aware that there are two types of Titan procedure machines:

  • Laser & Derm Skin Care Center has the XEO w/ TITAN™ selling for $195,000, and other offices have the much cheaper Titan Soleraâ selling for $85,000.
  • Laser & Derm Skin Care Center's XEO w/ TITAN™ runs on 220 volts, the cheaper Titan Soleraâ runs on 110 volts.
  • The XEO w/ TITAN™ comes with the Genesis Skin Rejuvenation System, which our office does complimentary** with its Titan Skin Tightening Procedures.
  • Laser & Derm Skin Care Center has found that the two procedures together (Titan + Genesis) can provide a superior end result for the skin.  The Titan Soleraâ cannot perform the Genesis procedure.
  • Further, we are now doing "dual skin tightening" by adding on the Lux IR Fractional from StarLux** on the same day, to get a super bonus skin tightening procedure.
The Titan procedure causes collagen to contract and thus tighten the skin. The Genesis procedure reaches deep into the dermis to stimulate new collagen formation and target the microvasculature.  In our own clinical patients, Dr. Leiker has seen the Genesis and Titan procedure combinations reduce fine lines and wrinkles and add to the skin tightening effect.  Further, XEO w/ TITAN™ (our laser) can perform “three dimensional skin rejuvenation.”

Our office feels it is mandatory, for the patient's safety, to have a physician perform the Titan procedure to receive the best result.

Proper technique and experience can create a better procedure - so make sure you have an experienced physician perform your treatment!

Which do you think is better?  Why not get more for your money with the XEO w/ TITAN™?

**Lux IR or Genesis is complimentary only on facial procedures $1200 and up,
after all discounts are applied.

Titan employs infrared light energy. It provides a very uniform distribution of energy for heating the deep dermis.

How does the Titan work?
Titan utilizes a safe, infrared light to heat the dermis well below the skin's surface. This heating can cause immediate collagen contraction. During the procedure, the skin's surface (epidermis) is protected through continuous cooling with the Titan handpiece. After the procedure, new collagen growth results in further tightening and with tissue remodeling the molecules rejoin and the result is less folds, looseness, and laxity of the skin.

Imagine a rubberband that is all stretched out. Then imagine that the rubberband is treated with Titan-like energy, and it becomes more elastic and much tighter.

These before-and-after photos show Titan Procedure results for a 50-year-old patient with postpartum skin redundancy from carrying twins 23 years ago. This patient received two Titan treatments, each spaced one month apart.

Who can be treated with Titan systems?
Since the Titan procedure is heating tissue under the skin's surface, patients of any skin type can be treated. Men and women of all ages have been successfully treated. Your physician can advise you if the Titan is right for you.

How many treatments will I need?
A single treatment has produced very good results for some patients. Your physician will advise you as to the number and frequency of treatments recommended for optimal results.

What happens after the treatment? Any side effects?
Immediately following the treatment, you may notice some redness and very mild swelling in the treated area. Both should dissipate within a few hours. Consult with your physician for complete information on the benefits and risks of treatment.

Photos are also available in doctor's office with free TITAN consultation.

When will I see results?
Some patients see results immediately. However, for most patients, the results are gradual over a three to six month period as new collagen is formed and the existing collagen is heated and contracts with further tightening.

What do treatments feel like?
With each Titan pulse, you will feel a brief heating sensation. Some patients are more comfortable taking a mild pain reliever beforehand. Many patients are comfortable without anything. Your physician will advise you.

Dr. Leiker was one of the first physicians in the nation to have the Titan™ technology and is the first in Kansas City to offer the procedure. Dr. Leiker is one of the most experienced physicians with the Titan™ technology in the Midwest and the entire nation.
Proper technique and experience can create a better procedure so make sure you have an experienced physician perform your treatment!
**If an office says that they are "physician supervised" - ask to see the physician while you are there doing your consult. Many clinics are misleading patients that they are physician supervised.
